why are you such a groupie? why dont you respect yourself, "DJ"
i was very tempted to deny this question being posted, but i figured it indeed prompted a responce.... so i will answer it and post it. To whomever the cowardly person is who asked this question and not leaving a name, account, or picture with it.... to what actions would define me as a groupie???? I work for a radio station, therefore i was required to do interviews with bands. doing interviews with bands requires meeting them, discussing questions beforehand so they are prepared to answer them (while chilling and having a few drinks...) therefor getting to know them as PEOPLE and sometimes even befriending them...... which usually turn out for the best because it allows for less effort obtaining passes for future concerts to interview other bands on the bill. I view these musicians as what they are.... a few guys who know how to play an instrument that just got a lucky break with a record deal..... nothing more.... i do not oogle, gawk, or chase people, which is why i am so highly regarded when just bumming around back stage.... there has only been one instance where i asked for an autograph, because my sister was bugging the shit out of me to get one for her. i usually make fun of the band guys, just to bust their ballz and rile them up a bit so they fully understand that i am there for radio purpose as well as bumming around only.... in no way am i a groupie or ever will be.... they are people just like you and me, nothing more.....
